Birgitta Trail

The Birgitta trail is situated in the beautiful nature of the municipality of Lempäälä. The trail is approximately 50 km long and it offers different kinds of routes to everybody from professionals to families with children.

In the route you can admire the beautiful Finnish nature and even stop in one of the lean-to´s (Finnish word "laavu"), a small wooden building which allows you to stay in one night .

Birgitta Trail was named after the church of Lempäälä, The St. Birgit Memorial Church, which is over 500 years old. It was also rewarded as the best trekking site of Finland in 2006.
